  • The Hayes Family Physics Competition

    Berwick students sweep Hayes family Physics competition. The Hayes family physics competition has been an annual event at the University of Scranton since 2004. It is an all-day competition where schools in our area send their high school physics students to challenge their engineering and physics problem-solving skills; the day contains five events.

  • League All-Star shoot-out

    League All-Star shoot-out. Zack Conrad and Colton Rinehimer. They took 5th place in team, and Zack was 6th place out of the Twenty top shooters in the league.

  • BMS Quiz Bowl wins!

    Berwick Area Middle School’s “A” quiz bowl team won the Warrior Classic IV Tournament for middle school students held at B. Reed Henderson High School in West Chester.  Fourteen teams from six schools in Pennsylvania and Delaware competed to be the first to buzz in on questions involving science, literature, history, geography, mathematical computation, current events, and pop culture.  Pictured in the photo are BMS students Elizabeth Gunther, Casimira Kendron, Thomas DiBattista (front) and Josephine Morgan, Justyce Schnaufer, Morgan Drauschak and Jaxon Hittle (back), who competed on Berwick’s A and B teams.

  • Berwick AP Capstone Students going to Nationals!

    Berwick Area High School students Jaida Geiser, Sophia Guerriero, and Sadie Zehner earned significant monetary awards and recognition after completing a year-long research project and presenting their project at the Capital Area Science & Engineering Fair (CASEF). Geiser, Guerriero, and Zehner are seniors participating in a two-year-long course sequence, AP Capstone, culminating in a year-long AP Research process. Each student in AP Research finds and establishes a research gap, defines a method of obtaining unique information to address that the gap then presents their results through writing, an oral presentation, and an academic poster.

  • Class of 2022 Graduation Information

    Graduation

    • Graduation Walk-Through at the Middle School as well as the Elementary Schools will take place on Friday, May 27th beginning at 8:15 am.
    • Graduation Practices in the Berwick Varsity Gymnasium are scheduled for Tuesday, May 31st, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with a "Senior Job Fair" to follow; and Thursday, June 2nd, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with the "Senior Picnic" to follow.
    • The Berwick Area Senior High School will hold its Graduation Ceremony on Friday, June 3rd, at 7:00 pm in the Berwick Varsity Gymnasium. You must have a ticket to enter the Graduation Ceremony. Doors will open at 5:30 pm.
