SLATINGTON – The Berwick Area High School Girls’ Soccer Team has become the first soccer team in the history of the school to advance to the PIAA Eastern Semi-finals. Berwick defeated Athens 1-0 Tuesday night in PIAA Class AAA action at the Balls Mills Soccer Complex near Williamsport to advance to the “Elite Eight” in Pennsylvania.
YATESVILLE – The Berwick Girls’ Volleyball team will enter PIAA District 2 Class 3A tournament play Thursday as the top seed in the competition. The Berwick girls’ will battle the winner of the Abington Heights-Tunkhannock match in the quarterfinals.
BLOOMSBURG – A team of Berwick Area High School students recently took 1st place in the STEM Competition at the Bloomsburg Fair. Coming with the victory is a $10,000 check to Berwick Area High School, sponsored by the Central Susquehanna Community Foundation, The Foundation of the Columbia-Montour Chamber of Commerce and Martz Technologies.
BERWICK – Several recent Berwick Area Senior High School graduates and current students have been recognized by the College Board for their performance on the National Advanced Placement exams. All AP students at Berwick take the national test, with several of our students taking multiple courses and exams. The district remains the only one in Northeastern PA participating in the AP Capstone Program, which carries additional requirements beyond that of traditional AP coursework.

The ACCESS for ELLs state exam will be administered to all K-12 English Learner (EL) students between January 6- February 21, 2020
