The Berwick Area School District is seeking stakeholder engagement to ensure ARP ESSER allocations are properly spent to support student learning during the COVID 19 pandemic. Berwick Area School District has received funding in the form of a 7% Set Aside Consolidated sub grant in the amount of $506,749.00. This sub grant is a portion of the $6,519,974.00 ARP ESSER grant. The district encourages all stakeholders to review the proposed spending and share their thoughts and recommendations with the district. All stakeholders are invited to address the Board of Education on 11/8/2021 at 7:00 PM at the Line Street Administration Office, or contact Robert Croop, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, via email at email@example.com. Happy New Year! We are excited to return to school to continue educating the students of Berwick Area School District. Teachers and staff are looking forward to helping everyone meet their learning goals for the 2021-22 school year.
The CDC has issued quarantine changes related to Covid. Click here to review those changes. If you have any questions, reach out to your building nurse and they will assist you. These changes are a benefit to educating our students as the out of school quarantine time has been decreased. It is important to note that quarantine is still required if exposed or symptomatic. If your child has had direct contact with someone with Covid-19 please keep him or her home and contact the school to help determine how long the quarantine period will be.
If your child is not feeling well please do not send him or her to school. Your child has access to their Google Classroom with assignments to complete while home.
Per our health and safety plan, BASD is still requiring masks through January 10, 2022. The topic will be addressed at the January 10th school board meeting.
BASD is committed to educating our students in school and in the safest way possible. Please continue to work with us in making sure that happens.
Due to an increase in positive Covid-19 cases and over 50 students needing to be quarantined, masks are required in all buildings as of Aug. 31, 2021. Thank you for your cooperation.
