• Message from The Guidance Department

    Welcome to the Berwick Area Middle School Guidance web page. We are glad that you took the time to visit this site. This page is designed to help both students and parents become more familiar with our guidance department as well as provide you with useful information. The Guidance Department is made up of three counselors: Mrs. Sees, Mrs. Herron, and Mrs. Harman. Counselors are assigned to specific grade levels.

    School Counseling Mission Statement

    We are committed to providing a comprehensive and developmental school counseling program to assist all students in the domain areas of Academic, Career, and Personal/Social development as well as inquiring and using lifelong learning and coping skills to be proactive leaders in our society. We aim to serve as advocates with stakeholders (students, parents, educators, business/community and higher education) to achieve equity and access for all students.

    Student Assistance Program (SAP)

    Student Assistance Programs are collaborative teams of trained school district and County Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Service agency personnel who meet regularly to assess, refer, and support student needs in order to remove barriers to their learning.
