The Berwick HS top Quiz Bowl quarter of Josephine Morgan, Fable Gunther, Thomas DiBattista, and Jaxon Hittle, overcame early adversity to emerge with a 6th place finish at Pennsylvania's premier Quiz Bowl event, The Eastern Pennsylvania Regional Championship. Eleven of the top fifteen teams in the current qbranks.live quiz bowl ranking, including Berwick A, were at Cedar Crest High School in Lebanon to match wits over buzzers and against college-level questions of higher difficulty than regular season tournaments.
Berwick will be looking to follow up on their 6th place state-level success this April in a one-game match for the PBS Scholastic Scrimmage Championship against Lehigh Valley's Moravian Academy. Berwick will also travel to Chicago to face the top small-enrollment public schools across the United States at NAQT's Small School National Championship Tournament.
