Congratulations to our high school newspaper The Student Times. The staff received top awards at the Tom Bigler Journalism Conference at Wilkes University on Friday, 3/31/23.
From Left: Sean Murphy (senior) won first place for Sports Writing; Trace Maneval and Madelyn Brown (senior editors) accepted the first place award for Outstanding Publication; Theresa Christian (advisor) was honored with the award for Journalism Teacher of the Year; Eden Savoy (junior) won first place for Layout and Design; Carly Hill (senior editor) won first place for News Writing; and Amy Beer (junior) won first place for Features Writing.
