BERWICK – Berwick Area High School football standout Teagan Wilk has been named to the Pennsylvania Football Writers Class AAAA All-State Team. Wilk, 5-11, 161 lb. sophomore, was one of two players recognized as an athlete rather than at a specific position. Wilk played wide receiver and in the defensive backfield for the Bulldogs this year. He also returned punts and kickoffs and was recognized for his aptitude for making big plays at timely moments, aggressive run support and anticipation skills, which led to a Wyoming Valley Conference leading 7 interceptions. Wilk had 110 tackles for the Dawgs, who finished 10-3 this year and were runner-up in District 2 Class 4A. He also had 19 receptions, with four going for touchdowns. Wilk returned 16 punts for 207 yards and 11 kickoffs for 236 yards. Wilk was the only sophomore named to the Class AAAA All-State Team. He is also the only player from District 2 recognized in Class AAAA.
