Kelly Sheptock Named Senior Class Marshal


SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Kelly Sheptock, a 2013 Berwick Area High School graduate, has been named a 2016-2017 Syracuse University Senior Class Marshal, one of the highest honors bestowed upon graduating seniors. Ms. Sheptock was presented her medal by University Chancellor Kent Syverud at a campus wide presentation.


Sheptock is a graduating senior of the world-renowned S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She was selected class marshal for achieving the highest cumulative grade point average among her graduating class. During her four-year career at the Newhouse School, Sheptock maintained a 4.0+ GPA.


On Saturday, May 13, the Newhouse School will hold its Convocation at the Carrier Dome. As class marshal, Sheptock will lead the procession of graduates and also address her fellow graduating classmates. The event will be streaming live on the web at Commencement.syr.edu.
