SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Kelly Sheptock, a 2013 Berwick Area High School graduate, has been named a 2016-2017 Syracuse University Senior Class Marshal, one of the highest honors bestowed upon graduating seniors. Ms. Sheptock was presented her medal by University Chancellor Kent Syverud at a campus wide presentation.
BERWICK – The late Berwick Area Baseball Coach Monty Labour was remembered at a ceremony before the game with Wyoming Valley West here recently.

BLOOMSBURG – Berwick Area High School placed 1st and 4th of 20 teams at the Science Iditarod held here recently. The Berwick “Blue” team won a tiebreaker to make it to the final round where it defeated Wyoming Area 33-26 to win the title. The Berwick “White” Team placed fourth overall, and broke the Iditarod record for the highest Physics score ever recorded in the event.
BERWICK – Four more Berwick Area High School students-athletes joined a growing list of BAHS graduates who will compete at the intercollegiate athletic level next year. Two of the graduates will compete at the Division I level, while the others will attend Division III schools.

DALLAS – Berwick Area Middle School students Lexi Comuntzis, Owen Berlin, Jack Dacier, Megan Golomb, Tanner Allen, Taylor Woodeshick, Justin Walker, Olivia Gomez and Grace Ward displayed their historical research at the 2017 Region 2 National History Day competition held at Misericordia University on Saturday March 25th.

STATE COLLEGE – Berwick Area High School junior Payden Montana placed third in the shot put at the Pennsylvania State Indoor Track and Field Championship Meet here last weekend.
