BERWICK RESIDENT RECEIVES TOP HONOR AT SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Kelly Sheptock, a 2013 Berwick Area High School graduate, has been named a 2016-2017 Syracuse University Senior Class Marshal, one of the highest honors bestowed upon graduating seniors. Ms. Sheptock was presented her medal by University Chancellor Kent Syverud at a campus wide presentation.

STASHKO RECEIVES HONOR AT PSU
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. – Berwick Area High School Class of 2014 graduate Ryan Stashko was recently named to the prestigious Lunar Lion Team at Penn State University. The Lunar Lion Team is the only University-sponsored, student-run organization in the world with the goal of sending a functional spacecraft to the Moon.

BAHS GRAD TO PRESENT IN CALIFORNIA
SAN FRANCISCO – Berwick Area High School Graduate Nicholas LeValley has been invited to be a featured presenter at the American Chemical Society National Meeting and Exposition here. The American Chemical Society is a national organization of world-renowned chemists and chemical engineers.

STEM MAGNET STUDENTS ACCEPTED TO DUKE, GEORGIA TECH
ATLANTA – Beau Blass and Katelynn Christian were recently recognized as the Valedictorian and Salutatorian of the Berwick Area School District Class of 2016. The two graduates also attended the STEM Magnet program at Bloomsburg University.

Berwick Graduate earns National Recognition
KANDAHAR, AFGHANISTAN – Berwick Area School District graduate and United States Army Lt. Mike Viti has earned national recognition due to a widely-circulated photo of Viti discussing military operations in Afghanistan with United States Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.
