Dr. Elizabeth Shotwell

Dr. Shotwell had always known she wanted to be a teacher. She spent many hours playing school with her three younger sisters.  Dr. Shotwell is a proud graduate of Wm. Allen High School in the Allentown School District. She went on to earn undergraduate degrees in Secondary Education and History from Bloomsburg University, a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Lock Haven University, and a Doctoral Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Indiana University. Additionally, she is a Certified Data Wise Coach

During her career, she has served as an instructional leader in a variety of K-12 settings. In her most recent role, she oversaw the fidelity and cohesion of support to federally designated schools and districts. Dr. Shotwell is passionate about ensuring all students have access to innovative and impactful educational opportunities.

Dr. Shotwell is also a very proud parent of three sons and resides in Mifflinville with her husband and their many pets.
