Ms. Shipman began her career as a math teacher at the Berwick Middle School.  She spent the next seven years of her career teaching various math courses at the Berwick High School.  In 2011, Ms. Shipman accepted the Dean of Students position at the high school.  She then held the position of Assistant Principal of the high school for two years, Principal of the middle school for two years, and Principal of the high school for two years.  She is currently in her first year as Principal of Nescopeck Elementary.  
    She is a lifetime resident of the Berwick/Nescopeck area and a graduate of the Berwick Area School District.  She attended Bloomsburg University and Millersville University where she acquired her Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education/Mathematics.  Ms. Shipman furthered her education at Bloomsburg University and in 2011 she recieved her Master of Education degree and Principal Certification.
