  • MENSINGER SCORES 1,000TH CAREER POINT

    BERWICK – Berwick Area High School girls’ basketball standout Reese Mensinger scored her 1,000th career point in a recent victory over Coughlin. Mensinger currently leads the Wyoming Valley Conference in scoring at 19.5 points per game and has 36 three-point field goals, which also leads the WVC.

    BERWICK – Berwick Area High School football standout Teagan Wilk has been named to the Pennsylvania Football Writers Class AAAA All-State Team.

  • BAHS Graduates Make Their Mark at Collegiate Level

    BERWICK, PA. – Several all-conference selections and one All-American headline an impressive group of Berwick Area High School graduates, who are competing at the collegiate level. The list includes 9 Division I athletes, a Division II standout and 14 Division III competitors, who have taken their talents to the post-secondary ranks. Three additional athletes have signed their letters of intent for the 2018-2019 academic year. The three current high school seniors, who have signed are Payden Montana, Sammi Starr and Kylie Levan, and are listed in bold type letters. The Division III list includes a female athlete, who competes in both Track and Field and basketball.

  • MONTANA CHOOSES PSU

    UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. – One of the most heavily recruited track and field athletes in Pennsylvania will compete at Penn State next year. Berwick Area High School Senior Payden Montana chose the Nittany Lions over Oklahoma and Virginia Tech at a press conference Friday afternoon.

    ERIE – Berwick Area High School Softball standout Kylie Levan signed a national letter of intent to play for the Gannon University Golden Knights recently. Levan joins teammate Sammi Starr in signing letters of intent with Division II programs.

  • STARR COMMITS to Bloomsburg University

    BLOOMSBURG – Berwick Area High School Softball standout Sammi Starr has signed a letter of intent to attend Bloomsburg University next fall. Starr has been the starting shortstop at Berwick since her freshman year and was selected to the Wyoming Valley Conference All-Conference first team as a junior.

    WASHINGTON D.C. – United State Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos recently announced that Berwick Area High School has been recognized as a 2017 National Blue Ribbon School.
