The services of the Guidance Department are available to all students who seek assistance in making choices or in making adjustments to situations as they arise.

The Guidance Department seeks to provide individual attention to each student in order that he/she may be assisted in attaining his/her greatest possible development. Information used in providing this assistance is obtained from data which is available from the results of standardized tests, academic grades, teachers' ratings and from other reliable sources:

Students may obtain help in many areas, some of which are listed below:

1. Planning his/her schedule.
2. Learning how to study.
3. Selecting an occupation.
4. Choosing a college or other school.
5. Organizing college plans
6. Securing financial help to meet college expenses.
7. Scholarships to college
8. Testing to determine aptitudes, interests, and personality.
9. Solving educational problems.
10. Solving social problem.

Students are always welcome and encouraged to visit the Guidance office. Appointments may be made for future dates. Parents are encouraged to visit the office, too, to discuss problems of mutual interest. Evening appointments are possible when daytime arrangements are inconvenient.
