Introduction:
The Pennsylvania Department of Education requires the successful completion of a Graduation Project for all students to be considered for a diploma. In Berwick's case, this became effective with the graduation class of 2001. The Chapter IV regulations state, "The purpose of the culminating project is to ensure that students are able to apply, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information and communicate significant knowledge and understanding." The following graduation project is intended to provide the opportunity for our students to participate in a meaningful exercise towards determining their future. The project is also a culmination of our K-12 career plan.
